Hi everyone! I loved the Barielle shades that I showed you yesterday so much that I felt like having a little fun with them. With all of the snowy mess we’ve had here for the past couple of days, I wanted to see something on the sunny side, so here’s what I came up with.

Gradient Nail Art

I started off with three coats of Barielle Banana Drop and two coats of Peach Pop on my ring finger, followed by SV.
And then I apparently forgot to take step by step pictures for some reason. I forgot. Do you ever forget? It happened to me.

For my ring finger, I paired my dotting tools with Barielle Mint Ice Cream Cone and Banana Drop for a little variation of a strawberry pattern.

I used a damp wedge sponge with Banana Drop and Peach Pop to create my gradient look.

I still cannot believe it took me this long to use this method for gradients. It’s so much faster, easier, and the clean up is less as well! (So you might be seeing a healthy amount of gradients over the next few weeks. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!)

Creating the Polka Dots

Finally, I paired one of my larger dotting tools with Mint Ice Cream Cone for some polka dots over the gradient.

I love the way these three pastels work together! I had so much fun creating this, and it was a definite cheer up from the dreary weather!
I hope you enjoyed! Happy Painting!
