Wintery Velvety manicure
So today, I felt like doing wintery manicure to match all the newly bare trees here.
Let’s get started with this wintery manicure
I started off with two coats of Nail Rock Midnight Blue on my middle finger, and two coats of Creations by Lynda Barely There, followed by one coat of SV. This beige holographic is actually a custom color that she created for me! I love it!!!
Add the flocking powder
I applied an extra coat of SV over Midnight Blue, and pressed my finger into my pot of Nail Rock flocking powder. I used a small brush to fluff off the excess powder. I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to post a flocked mani here! I adore the effect!
Create dandelion design
I am so crazy about the dandelion design from the Vivid Lacquer plate I recently reviewed here, that I couldn’t wait to use it again! I paired it with Color Club Beyond and even doubled up on my ring finger for more of a “blowing in the wind” look.
I wanted a delicate accent to rival the boldness of the flocking powder, so I again paired the plate with Color Club Beyond for the delicate chevron pattern. I finished with one coat of SV.
I love the end result. I also really like how grey Beyond looks over Barely There. It’s a simple, but cold looking combination.
I had to go out in the sun to see these awesome holos pop!
How to manicure looks like Outdoors
I hope you enjoyed today’s mani! I’m so happy to be back to blogging!!!
Happy Painting!
