Review for China Glaze – Twinkle Collection +Swatch

Hi everyone! I have the Twinkle Collection from China Glaze for you today!
Chillin’ with my Snow-mies
Chillin’ with my Snow-mies is a clear coat with multi-sized white hexes. The formula was smooth, but I did have to fish for the hexes a bit more than I normally do. Okay, can I just take a minute to mention how much I love the name of this one?! I really like how simple this one is! It’s a great snowy touch.
Dancing and Prancing
Dancing and Prancing is a clear coat loaded with a pastel rainbow of metallic hexes. The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail. I love how flashy this one is!
De-Light
De-Light is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized gold hexes and gold holographic bars. The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and the glitters spread out evenly across the nail. I’m a little middle of the road on this one. It’s a good glitter topper. It’s really dense, but at the same time isn’t dense enough for full coverage.
December to Remember
December to Remember is a medium blue shimmer with a shifting glass fleck that flashes gold and pink. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I really love the shifting shimmer in this one, but it’s really subtle in most indoor lighting. The shimmer in the blue overpowers it a little too much.
Define Good …
Define Good … is a maroon shimmer. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I love, love, LOVE this color! It’s so vibrant!
Feeling Twinkly
Feeling Twinkly is a clear coat loaded with blue micro glitter. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I like this one a lot, but this is another one that can’t achieve an opaque finish on its own.
I’d Melt for You
I’d Melt for You is silver chrome. The formula was smooth and easy to apply, and was very nearly a one-coater. I loved this one immediately. It is very similar to OPI’s Push and Shove from earlier this year, but I found that this one was much better for mani length, so that’s a big plus.
Meet Me Under the Stars
Meet Me Under the Stars is a black jelly loaded with black and silver micro glitter. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. It’s super sparkly.
No Peeking!
No Peeking! is a smokey purple shimmer. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I love how muted this one is!
Out Like a Light
Out Like a Light is a deep grey creme with a slight olive undertone. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I like this shade, but it just didn’t really wow me too much.
Pine-ing-for Glitter
Pine-ing for Glitter is a clear coat loaded with multi-sized teal hexes. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I loved this one immediately! It’s just gorgeous!!
Tip Your Hat
Tip Your Hat is a medium red creme. The formula was smooth and easy to apply. I thought I’d be so sick of reds by now, but I really like this one a lot. It’s a really pretty red.
Overall, I really like this collection. There are some fun holiday shades, and not too many reds, thankfully.
I hope you enjoyed! Happy Painting!
