Happy Independence Day!

Hi everyone!! I decided to go with a fun red, white, and blue skittle mani to celebrate the Fourth of July!!
Let’s first apply the base colors
I started off with two coats of Color Secrets Snow White, and OPI Eurso Euro on my ring fingers. Not super exciting so far, I realize.
For my thumb, seen at the top, I sponged on Picture Perfect Ruby Blou for a glitter gradient. I followed with one coat of SV.
For my index finger, I applied two coats of KBShimmer Pimp My Pride. I started to add something over it, but I loved the way it looked on it’s own. I followed with one coat of SV.
Created the Flag Nail Art
For my middle finger, I taped off my nail diagonally and added one coat of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer Fit for a Prince. I fished out silver holographic hexes from Love & Beauty Disco Ball Silver and applied them with an orange stick to mimic the stars on the flag. I applied one coat of SV to protect the top section, and then taped off that section. I applied my striping tape and applied one coat of Nicole by OPI Challenge Red-y. I followed with one more coat of SV.
Put on the shimmering fireworks
For my ring finger I applied two coats of Finger Paints Twisted over Eurso Euro, and then used Kiss Silver Glitter striping polish to create the shimmering fireworks. I striped Kiss Purple Glitter over it as well to give the fireworks a bit more depth. I followed with one coat of SV.
This is actually something similar to the fireworks design I did last year here and here, and since I had so much awesome feedback about the flakes and fireworks, I decided to bring it back.
Water Marble Nail
On my pinky finger, I used Color Secrets Snow White, China Glaze Red Satin, and China Glaze First Mate to create a tightly striped water marble nails. I added one coat of Northern Lights Holographic Top Coat, and finished with one coat of SV.
I had so much fun creating this! I hope you enjoyed it as well! Have a safe and happy fourth!
Happy Painting!
